Since launching in 2008, people in nearly 70 countries have participated in Help-Portrait. It is a global movement of volunteers using their time, tools, and expertise to give back to those in need. Volunteer for Help-Portrait NWA to be a greeter, hair and make-up artist, photographer, or one of the all-important image editors.

Help-Portrait NWA is about GIVING the pictures, not taking them. These portraits aren’t for a portfolio, website, or sale. It’s about giving people who otherwise couldn’t afford photography, a chance to capture a moment, a memory…and a whole lot more.
Help-Portrait NWA needs you, photographers, editors, greeters, hairstylists and makeup artists who are willing to volunteer time, equipment and expertise to give back to those who are less fortunate. If that’s you, and you’re interested in getting involved, you’ve come to the right place.
